It all started with a dream in 2019

Florecita Chavez Notario founder of the original Maleny Gifts, now The Origen by Maleny at the Eden Prairie Center.

What started as a gift shop at the Burnsville Center quickly turned into a place where Hispanics from all over the South metro could shop for traditional goods. In 2026, we continue the legacy of Florecita to provide top quality Hispanic goods while simultaneously creating a space where everyone is welcomed.
